Design Process
Designing your site is a three phase process.
Definition
We spend up to an hour with you to determine
- What are the goals for your site?
- Who is your target audience?
- What information will your site contain?
- What are some general design concepts you like or dislike?
Based on the answers to these questions, we will develop a flow chart that organizes your site according to target audience and content. You will also receive two or three design concepts geared to your tastes.
After you have reviewed the flow chart and design concepts, we will refine one design based on your feedback. This will become the final site.
Once we receive approval of the final design, a development schedule will be created with milestones for approval. At each milestone, you will be able to approve the work done or request changes.
Development
In the development phase, we turn the design concept into graphics and html code and translate the organizational flow chart into section tabs and links.
We build a homepage and the framework for the rest of the site, then put it all into DOCStudio. With DOCStudio, you can expand your site to an infinite number of pages easily.
We then configure the custom functionality, such as search or newsletter subscription, that comes with the package you purchased.
Testing, Launch and Training
Once development is complete, we test every page on your site, then ask you to do the same. When everything meets your approval, we put the site live.
During this phase, we train you in using DOCStudio. Post launch, we continue to provide support (both email and phone) as outlined in the package you purchased.
