With the growing number of Internet and social networking sites, is the need for search engines growing less popular? Google has introduced a new method of searching called Caffeine. Labeling it the “next generation” of search engines. Google Caffeine ranks and indexes all the pages on the web. Titus Hoskins says in an article for Site Pro News, “According to all indications, this is not just another one of Google’s infamous updates, but a major “Overhaul” of its index and algorithm – the complex formula and calculations Google uses to rank all web pages, including yours.” Google Caffeine will be more equipped to recognize quality web pages with an overall-page quality appeal. Having websites with proper meta tags, keyword density, traffic numbers, social bookmarks, unique content and good overall design will catch the Google Caffeine’s attention in a good way. Everyone is always weary when a new sheriff comes to town, but a high quality, well managed website can keep any business in a perfect position. Level 9 Digital works to position every client in the areas most effective. The Internet is like a chess board, there’s always going to be moves made by another opponent, but it’s up to the player to make the most strategic ones--Level 9 Digital does just that.

Thanks to social networking websites like Facebook, blogs and company websites, Google Caffeine has more energy to produce faster, more relevant information to the web. Caffeine will however; place more emphasis on ranking power its placed on keyword domains. If your web address contains your keyword or phrase, then a better chance of a higher ranking you’ll place. Level 9 Digital works with their clients to incorporate the best keywords and have always suggested using a keyword or phrase as the web address. Haskins says, “As the web evolves, keyworded domains will become more valuable and this value will be reflected in the quality of the site. If you’re making thousands or even millions from your keyworded domain, you can afford to invest in quality content and design. Cream rises to the top. Gradually, as these domains become more valuable, they will probably be snapped up by marketers and companies who know just how to exploit them.”
